It all depends on the thickness of your coats, but if you use our Quick-Dry Drops, you can halve the drying time of your Green™ polish (by 51% to be precise, according to recent studies)!

The nail prep step is a very important way to make sure your polish lasts:

1) File your nails into your preferred shape using our emery board. Use the fine grain (Manucurist logo) for your fingernails and the coarser grain for your toenails.
2) Push back your cuticles. Apply our Cuticle Remover to the nail contour. Leave to work for 2 minutes, then push back the cuticles with a cuticle pusher.
3) File the surface of your nails using our buffer. This is designed to smooth, buff and open up the nail plate to help the polish adhere better.
4) Remove all traces of oil and/or impurities using our Nail Oil Remover to help the polish adhere better and last longer.

Then apply your Green™ polish by following the steps below. Carry out each step on all 10 fingers before moving on to the next step:

1) Apply a thin layer of Base Coat immediately after the Nail Oil Remover.
2) Apply 2 thin coats of colour once the Base Coat is dry. Wait a little while between each coat for it to dry slightly.
3) Apply 1 thin layer of Top Coat.
4) Apply 1 Quick-Dry Drop to the middle of each nail after applying the Top Coat.
Apply the polish in thin coats and wait 1-2 minutes between each coat!

If you are wearing Green™ polish, you can reapply a layer of our Sunshine Top Coat to refresh its shine after a few days.

Yes, you can use any of our treatment base coats as part of your Green™ manicure, e.g. S.O.S. Base Coat, Force Base Coat or 5.5 Base Coat. These base coats are designed to strengthen your nails, while helping your Green™ polish to adhere properly.

Our Green™ formula is green and clean: it contains up to 84% plant-based ingredients like cassava, sugar cane and potatoes, and is 9-free (no dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde toluene, formaldehyde resin, camphor, triphenyl phosphate (TPHP), xylene, parabens, phthalates or animal-derived ingredients). However, women should avoid all types of nail polish when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.

Our Green™ formula meets European standards and does not contain any sensitising substances. It is also certified gluten-free and safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as are our Green Flash™, Active™ and nail care ranges. Most customers who are allergic to regular nail polish are not allergic to Green™ nail polish. However, as allergic reactions are not specifically linked to chemical ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.

For a clean, bright, and even finish, everything depends on good preparation and thin layers.

Prepare your nails: file them to the desired shape, gently push back the cuticles, then clean the nail surface.

Apply a thin layer of Green Base Coat™ to protect the nail and enhance tenue.

Then apply your milky white in 1 to 2 thin layers (2 thin layers provide a more even result), allowing each layer to dry thoroughly in the open air.

Finish with a Top Coat to set the color and add shine, then apply cuticle oil.

Tip: immediately remove any overflow for a clean and precise edge.

Under normal conditions, a classic polish can last up to 7 days with a clean and shiny finish, depending on nail preparation and your habits (water, cleaning, manual activities…)

If your polish chips quickly, it usually comes from one of these points:

-insufficiently prepared or cleaned nail
-layers that are too thick or not dry enough
-absence of base coat or top coat
-frequent exposure to water or cleaning products

Good habits to extend tenue:

-properly prepare and clean the nail before application
-apply a base coat
-prefer thin and even layers
-let each layer dry completely
-seal with a top coat

Tip: wearing gloves for household chores helps preserve shine and color longer.

For gentle removal of your milky white polish, opt for a mild remover.

Soak a cotton pad, apply it to the nail for a few seconds, then wipe to dissolve the color without excessive rubbing.

If necessary, repeat the process rather than scraping the nail.

After removal, moisturize your nails and cuticles with an oil or nourishing treatment.

Tip: for more pigmented shades, use a clean cotton pad to avoid redepositing color on the nail.
