Our gel texture formula is up to 97% bio-sourced and enriched with glycerine, which makes precision application a breeze.
How to use effective emollient?

There are 3 steps to effective nail prep and long-lasting colour:

  • Apply the cuticule remover around the nail contour to soften your cuticles
  • Leave on for 2 minutes, then push back the cuticles using a cuticle pusher
  • Remove any oil with a nail polish remover or our Degreaser

Thoroughly wash the hands/feet before applying the base.

How many drops of Cuticle Remover do I need to use?

One drop of Cuticle Remover per nail is enough.
Do I need to trim my cuticles after softening them with Cuticle Remover?

You don't need to trim your cuticles after softening them with Cuticle Remover. You can just push them back with our Cuticle Pusher. If you do want to trim them, we recommend you use our Cuticle Nippers. This is a professional tool that should be used with care.
Is it oily?

No, our Cuticle Remover is a water-based gel that contains no oil.
Do you need to remove the excess before applying nail polish?

Yes, you do! Before your start to apply your nail polish, remove any excess product with a cotton pad and then remove any oil from the nail with Green Flash™ Nail Oil Remover or Nail Polish Remover.
Can I apply Green™ or Green Flash™ polish straight afterwards?

Yes, our Cuticle Remover is a water-based gel, so there's no reason why you can't apply Green™ or Green Flash™ polish afterwards.
Can I use it every time I apply nail polish?

It can be used up to once a week.
Can pregnant and/or breastfeeding women use your nail care range?

Our nail care formulas are green and clean: they are up to 99% plant-based, i.e. made from biomass ingredients like aloe vera, lemon, ginseng, pomegranate and grape. However, women should avoid all types of nail polish when they are pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
Can using your nail care products cause allergies?

Our nail care formulas meet European standards and do not contain any sensitising substances. They are also certified gluten-free and safe for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease, as are our Green Flash™, Green™ and Active™ ranges. Most customers who are allergic to regular nail care products are not allergic to the Manucurist nail care range. However, as allergic reactions are not specifically linked to chemical ingredients, they can sometimes occur with plant-based ingredients. We recommend you speak to a healthcare professional if you are unsure.
